When we first started thinking about setting up Child and Youth Finance International, we were sure we were not the only ones who shared this vision.

We called on a group of 140 experts from over 40 countries and asked them to share their thoughts on this large endeavor. In a meeting in the Netherlands in 2010, they collaborated to create what would become the first draft of the movement’s strategy.

It is precisely through such collaboration, consultative processes and unified efforts that the Child and Youth Finance movement  will succeed in achieving its goals. Today, this initial group of 140 has grown to include over 1000 experts who have contributed to shaping the strategy for Child and Youth Finance and developing its key outputs. Many of these experts continue to serve on our board or on our Expert Councils.

The network continues to expand and benefit from the expertise and innovation which exists worldwide. We invite you to share your expertise in this collaborative movement!
